Customer Use Case

The client needed to break their dependence on expensive third-party delivery aggregators whose high commissions were eroding profit margins. They required a proprietary ordering system that was as fast and reliable as international delivery apps but tailored to their specific brand and menu complexity. Key requirements included ease of menu management (daily specials), a mobile-responsive UI that allows ordering with minimal taps, and a real-time notification system for the kitchen staff to manage incoming orders efficiently.

The Solution

We built a serverless application using React and Firebase to ensure maximum uptime and zero infrastructure management costs. Our team implemented a real-time synchronization layer so that when the kitchen 'pauses' an item, it instantly disappears from the customer's view across all devices. We integrated a custom 'Express Checkout' flow that remembers customer preferences and locations securely, reducing cart abandonment. To fix the notification gap, we developed a companion 'Kitchen Dashboard' app that provides visual and auditory alerts for new orders, allowing staff to manage prep times and order statuses in real-time.
